Unlike other stretching and massage therapy clinics, we focus on the brain to do the bulk of the work. The “Stretch n’ Release Technique” use a stretching technique that only holds the stretch for 3-5 seconds and repeats 8-10 times without a lot of pressure. We teach you how to release the emotional attachment to the pain by using your brain to relax the muscle and not using force to make the muscle let go. Once the emotional attachment is released, the pressure from the muscle disappears reducing the pain. The muscles are more emotional than physical when dealing with chronic pain. It is the combination of releasing the emotional attachment and the stretching technique that is unique. Movement is NOT an option!
